Microchip Clinics (reservation required)

  • Watch for our next clinic, coming soon!
  • Views of abandoned pets in the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina remind us that we need to make plans and preparations for our animals in the event of a natural disaster. In an effort to both help animal rescue efforts and to help ensure that your lost pet can be reunited with you, Buffalo Companion Animal Network is holding a Microchip Clinic. The process involves injecting a small capsule under the skin which emits an electronic frequency signal that can be read by a handheld scanner. Shelters and veterinarians scan animals in order to identify them and their owners.

The cost is only $25 and proceeds will benefit Buffalo Companion Animal Network. For more information or to make a reservation to have your pet microchipped, contact Kathy at (716) 836-0925.
