Pet Food Pantry

We are in desperate need of food -- please donate so we can continue to help those in need!

The Buffalo Companion Animal Network has opened a Pet Food Pantry to help our low income neighbors. Pet owners must provide proof, such as Food Stamp cards. Print out and complete our Pet Food Pantry Application before arrival to help us get you your food more quickly.

Anyone interested in receiving pet food should call Kathy Hogan at 602-7169. The pantry at 37 Chandler St. is open from 11 am to 2 pm on Mondays.

Microchip Clinic Nov. 22nd 2009!

Buffalo CAN holds microchip clinics from time to time. Our next clinic will be held at Pet Supplies Plus on Sheridan Drive on Sunday, Nov. 22nd, 2009 from Noon-2pm.

The process involves injecting a small capsule under the skin which emits an electronic frequency signal that can be read by a handheld scanner. Shelters and veterinarians scan animals in order to identify them and their owners.

The cost is only $25 and proceeds will benefit the Buffalo Companion Animal Network. For more information or to make a reservation to have your pet microchipped, contact Kathy at (716) 602-7169.
